# Cookie Policy — EBM Solution Legal documents # Cookie Policy Pursuant to Art. 122 of Italian Legislative Decree 196/2003 and the Italian Data Protection Authority’s cookie guidelines (2021) · Last updated: May 2026 ## 1. What cookies are Cookies are small text files that websites store in the user’s browser during browsing. They allow the site to remember the user’s preferences, measure page usage and ensure that certain features work correctly. Alongside cookies in the strict sense, there are similar technologies such as **localStorage**, which stores data in the browser without a predefined expiry, and the **technical data transfers** that occur when external resources (for example typefaces) are loaded. These do not store cookies but transmit the user’s IP address to the resource provider. This policy describes all three types present on this site. Analytics cookies — Matomo (self-hosted) This site uses **Matomo Analytics in self-hosted mode**: all browsing data is processed and stored exclusively on servers owned by EBM Solution S.r.l., with no transfer to third parties. IP addresses are anonymised before storage. No cross-site tracking cookies are used. Third-party cookies — Cloudflare The site is delivered and protected through **Cloudflare Inc.**, which acts as a reverse proxy between the user’s browser and EBM Solution’s servers. Cloudflare stores technical cookies needed for site security, DDoS attack prevention and load balancing. These cookies do not collect data for advertising or profiling purposes. Cloudflare is certified under the **EU-US Data Privacy Framework**. Google Fonts — technical data transfer This site loads typefaces through the **Google Fonts** service (Google LLC CDN). Google Fonts **does not store cookies** in the user’s browser; however, when each page loads, the browser makes a request to Google’s servers, transmitting the user’s IP address. This transfer takes place on the basis of the owner’s legitimate interest in the correct delivery of the site’s graphic service. Google LLC is certified under the **EU-US Data Privacy Framework**. Booking platform (book.ebmsolution.com) Calls to **book.ebmsolution.com** lead to an appointment booking platform developed and managed internally by EBM Solution S.r.l. This is a first-party service, available on a dedicated subdomain, which may store technical session cookies needed for the booking process to work correctly. Access to the booking platform requires **explicit consent** to the processing of personal data, collected directly within the booking form before any data processing. How to manage cookies Users can manage, limit or delete cookies at any time through their browser settings.
